How it works

Clear responsibilities at every stage.

Define the work, involve the right people and resolve review questions before sharing final results.

How it works

A considered process.
A traceable outcome.

Keep the work moving with clear responsibilities at every stage, from defining the engagement to releasing the final result.

Led by the assessment team

Agree what you’re assessing.

Record the client, objectives and team. Choose a published method, define participating functions and configure the assessment window. A program can include an optional sponsor approval step.

Each assessment stays pinned to its published method version.

At this stage

A shared assessment brief

  • Client and assessment objectives
  • Published method and participating functions
  • Named leads, reviewers and sponsors
  • Response window and approval requirements

When an answer needs more detail

Review is a conversation, not a checkbox.

  1. Participant submits
  2. Reviewer examines the response
  3. Reviewer requests clarification
  4. Participant replies with detail or evidence
  5. Reviewer records a resolution

Repeat follow-up when needed. The original submission is preserved; unresolved requests prevent finalization.

While work is underway

Sponsors see authorized completion progress—not working answers, evidence or provisional results.

After required review and finalization

Authorized sponsors can view the finalized company result in the application.

A few useful answers

Before you begin.

Start with the scope of your work.
The platform keeps the process consistent.

Can I assess one function or a whole company?

Yes. Choose the functions participating in a company assessment, within the selected method’s scope rules. Programs coordinate multiple company assessments while preserving each company’s records and access.

Do we need to use one fixed questionnaire?

No. The platform separates reusable methods from customer assessment runs. You can select a published method or work with an administrator to import a supported, reviewed assessment package. Active assessments retain their chosen version.

Can reviewers ask for more information?

Yes. Reviewers can request clarification against a submitted response, track replies and resolve the request. The original submission remains preserved, and unresolved requests prevent finalization.

What can executive sponsors see?

Authorized sponsors can monitor completion before results are final. Working answers, evidence and provisional results remain restricted. Final results become available after the required review and finalization steps.

Can we bring an existing Excel assessment into MaturityNav?

Table-based Excel intake is available for methods with one question per row and complete three-to-five-level question-specific rubrics. It proposes mappings for human review before the content enters the visual method builder and governed validation flow. AI-generated interpretation of ambiguous workbook structures and downloadable report packages remain future work.

How do we get access?

MaturityNav is in an initial, access-controlled release. Access is arranged individually; public self-service registration is not available. Automated invitations and reminder emails are not yet enabled.
